Step-by-Step Guide to Buying at Amazon

  1. Install the Rewardsweb Extension: Ensure you have the Rewardsweb extension installed on Google Chrome (desktop only).

  2. Confirm the total purchase amount: Visit the Amazon website, add the desired products to your shopping cart, enter your personal and delivery information, and proceed to the checkout page to review the total purchase amount, including shipping fees and additional charges.

  3. Redeem Your Rewards

    • Open the extension: Check your available balance and select the loyalty program you want to use for redemption. Need help linking your programs? click here.

    • Set the Amount: Enter the total cost of your Amazon purchase, including shipping and/or additional charges, then click "Continue," or enable the "Redeem all my rewards" option.

    • Generate Your Re.Card: Review the details and click "Create Re.Card" to generate a virtual card to use as a payment method on Amazon.

  4. Change Payment to Re.Card:

    • Select “Add a credit or debit card,” in Amazon and enter the Re.Card details, including card number, expiration date, CVV, and any identification number if required. Click “Continue” to finalize the purchase.

Important: If the delivery time exceeds 7 days, use an Amazon Gift Card for a smoother experience.

Note: If you encounter issues with payment, consider redeeming your rewards for an Amazon Gift Card and use it as your payment method.

What to Do If Your Personal Card Has a Discount on Amazon

If you see a discount or promotion applied to your order due to your personal payment method, switch to another card immediately.

Why Switch Cards?

If you process a redemption with a discount from your personal card, the funds loaded on the virtual Mastercard (Re.Card) might be insufficient since the discount will not apply to the Re.Card. This can result in a payment decline or an unexpected charge to your personal card. Always switch to ensure the correct use of your rewards.
