What do I have to do to cancel a redemption?

There are several reasons why a payment may be rejected, including but not limited to:

  1. The merchant's payment platform rejects the purchase due to its security processes.
    1. If the "Paypal" payment method is available, please enter the Re.Card to place your order.  Check the Re.Card details in "Transactions".
    2. The Re.Card is an international credit card; some payment platforms may have security alerts. Carry out all the security validations of your account and contact the merchant to report the rejection and confirm that they allow international payment methods.  If the issue persists, please place your order in Mercado Libre, Amazon, eBay, or another available merchant.
  2. The merchant charged shipping, taxes, or surcharges. To solve this, add shipping costs, packaging, taxes, insurance, etc.
  3. The Re.Card is inactive. Use the Re.Card within the first 24 hours. Avoid purchasing preorders or products with extended delivery dates. In this case, buy a Gift Card from the store and use it to purchase your products.
  4. The Re.Card data is incorrect. Check your Re.Card details from your transaction history, and ensure you correctly enter the name, number, and expiration date.
    Re.Card funds are insufficient.
  5. There are issues with the payment platform server. Please try again in a few hours or contact the payment platform's technical support for help.
  6. Your internet connection is having problems. You can try again or contact your internet provider's technical support within a few hours.
  7. Clear cache and cookies from your browser. We recommend installing the "EditThisCookie" extension in your Chrome browser to clear the cache of the merchant's payment pages quickly.

Other factors that may lead to payment rejection:
  • Make purchases in a store in a specific country while you are traveling or domiciled in another country.
  • When you purchase from a new or non-validated device in your account with the merchant.
  • If you make an unusual or large purchase.

If the merchant continues declining payment, use your rewards at other stores.
